Underwater traction of the spine

Underwater traction of the spine
Underwater spinal traction is one of the most effective methods of treating the musculoskeletal system.
Another method is called traction therapy ("traction" - traction). In carrying out the procedure, the warm water of the common bath (fresh or mineral) and the methods of stretching act simultaneously on the body of the person, due to which the internal disc pressure decreases with the extension of the vertebrae, the pain syndrome disappears.
If the procedure is carried out in mineral iodine-bromine water, the ions of bromine and iodine, accumulating in the near-vertebral tissues, suppress inflammation in the painful areas and stimulate the regenerative processes.

In the sanatorium "Demidkovo" for the procedure the patient is immersed in a bath filled with warm iodine-bromine water. Sensations are pleasant, the water gently supports the body. If the patient is prescribed a gentle load, then the stretching occurs only under the influence of his own weight. And in the event that more intensive exposure is required, a load of up to 2.5 kg is added to the dosing. The session lasts from 10 to 40 minutes. Therapeutic course - 10-15 procedures.
